I am very impressed with your expertise in creating all these wonderful activities for a variety of technological resources! I have had virtually no professional development on technology at my school... in fact my classroom desktop is eleven years old and cannot support my class website! So yeah.... good job and I would love to know how you learned to do all this! Any recommended resources (books, websites etc.) would be greatly appreciated!

Love your blog! I'm your newest follower...

Kat,
I have been involved with technology for more than 10 years. I started with one piece of software at a time, learned it and went from there. I teach technology as well as math and literacy classes in my school district, so I am always on the lookout for software that I can use to create activities. I will be looking for some resources for you. Send me your email address.
Linda
P.S. Thank you for your kind comments.

What a wonderful blog you have! I discovered your blog from Deanna Jump's blog. I am particularly interested in your Smart Board resources. I don't have a SmartBoard, but am getting a Mimio. (Poor man's Smart Board)
I have a question about your attendance resource for SmartBoard. How do you use it? Do your students drag their name, drag the snowflake?
Thank you,
Susan

Thank you Susan!I type each student's name and group the snowflake and name together. Hope this helps. Email me if you have more questions. (iluvkdg@gmail.com)

Linda,
Do the students move their name and snowflake anywhere to show that they are present? I played around with yours and put my students' names on the screen. I locked those. Then I dragged the snowflakes down around the snowmen. When the students arrive, they will drag a snowflake up to their name. Is that kind of how you use it?
You really inspired me, so I have now created new attendance and lunch count for our next unit: space. I will be uploading it to my blog very shortly.
Thanks for sharing so many wonderful resources! My class website is the "Mission Kindergarten" one, but my teacher blog is "A Garden of Children".
Thanks for being my first follower! I have subscribed to your blog!

I have the children drag their names down to the snowmen, I moved the snowmen to the front and locked it. The children's names disappears and the ones left showing are out. I hope this helps. I will check out your teacher blog right now!
