Farm Word Work Station Update

My kindergarteners love love this literacy word work station. I hope yours will, too. After placing this in my literacy centers I decided my kiddos needed a little more accountability. I made a response sheet and they can choose what ten words they want to make and record. So far they've chosen to make and record all the words!

Farm Write the Room

For those who have followed my blog for a while, you know I am writing a book based on my great great grandfather's letters written during the Civil War. I have been writing and researching this week (my spring break). I am hoping to have the book ready at the end of the summer. There are many sad stories about the men and their families, but also survival! This continues to be a fascinating journey. But, I meant to upload my farm literacy and math work stations earlier this week and time got away from me! Have a great rest of the week and watch for more workstations!

Take Me out to the Barnyard song Freebie

It's Thursday and spring break is fast coming to an end, so it's next week planning time. We will spend a few weeks on the farm. Here's one of the songs that my kiddos like to sing. Look for more this week and next!
