If you read my blog often, you know the weakness I have for Dollar Trees! I love this year's erasers because they contain a cute spider and owl. I hope your students will enjoy the activity. I copied the sorting sheets on card stock and laminated them. I made two different sorting sheets. I hope your students will have a lot of sorting and counting fun!

Pumpkins Five Game

We have been working on adding and subtracting fluently to 5.  I designed this game for my math workstations. The game boards have five pumpkins and there's a set of several sets of cards from 0-5. I placed the cards in the jack-o-lantern box.You will also need a set of two color counters. Choose a card, place that number of red counters on the board. Then place the remainder of the counters yellow side up. Record them on the pumpkin response sheet and write the equation.

Pete Counts Buttons Math Workstation

I am working on my back to school activities featuring Pete the Cat. I ordered the Pete puppet from and he is really cute! I also ordered the large primary button assortment from Oriental Trading to use with this math workstation, but there's a set of buttons included with the cards (This workstation integrates both math and literacy because the cards use color words, too.)
